Saugeen Shores Police have charged one person with assault who turned himself in.
On May 11th police began their investigation when a man arrived at the station to report he had assaulted another man in town.
Soon after he was arrested police received a call of a man who had been attacked.
Officers arrived at the scene and observed the victim to have significant injuries and needed medical attention.
Both men were known to each other. As a result a 47 year old has been charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
