The Movember Golf Classic at the Ainsdale Golf Club last month proved another big success.
140 golfers gathered on September 19th for the 5th year of the tournament complete with various golf challenges, silent auction items and raffles organized by Todd Thompson.
Back in 2020, Kincardine resident Thompson found himself facing a prostate cancer diagnosis with surgery quickly planned to remove the cancerous tumour and now is five years cancer free.
Thompson aligned himself with the Movember movement who alongside his wife Tammy hosted the first Movember Golf Classic raising over $10,000.
This years event proved to the largest one yet, raising almost $31,000. Thompson says he will continue to use his voice to get men to look after their health and break the stigma.
