The Resuscitation Quality Improvement program is a digital based program that is deeply rooted in the latest science and will lead the hospital on a journey to high-quality and verified CPR competence to maximize lifesaving outcomes.
It allows clinical staff to verify competence and skills for resuscitation four times a year through eLearning cognitive assessment activities and skill sessions.
The program was co-developed by the American Heart Association and Laerdal Medical, and is supported and endorsed by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
Each of the four hospital sites has an RQI simulation station that provides real-time, audiovisual, and directive feedback.
