New proposed residential development at former Wingham trailer park unveiled

Local residents and prospective tenants of a future apartment building proposed for the former Wingham Trailer Park site were given a glimpse of what the exact details of the building would be at an open house last week at the Wingham Legion.

 

The Proposed Purchasers of the site were on-hand as well as the site plans and drawings were displayed.

 

There would be a total of 73 units over 5 stories with a 1-bedroom expected to cost $1600 per month.

 

Feedback from residents was taken which included the fact that the Wingham Community Trail currently runs through the property and the expected cost of rent for the apartments.

 

The building would start construction if approved by the Township of North Huron Council in June of 2022.
