No explosives found after a suspicious package was left outside apartment building

Wellington County OPP say a suspicious package found outside an apartment complex in Mount Forest did not contain any explosives.

The package was first discovered at the front door of the building Wednesday morning around 8:30.

Residents of the complex were evacuated as a result and were taken to the sport complex as OPP explosive disposal unit were examining the package.

Investigators say there is no further risk to public safety.
