A scene Tuesday night after Saugeen Fire & Emergency Services were called to a wildfire near the Saugeen River.
Crews were called at around 8:40pm and upon arrival saw the blaze being around 200 meters in length.
The fire was quickly controlled and fire crews then moved with a controlled burn of a portion of the area.
No injuries or damage was reported. Saugeen Fire says as the seasons change you’re asked to be fire smart and avoid careless disposal of items such as cigarettes in seasonally dry areas.
