A 42 year old has been arrested after assaulting an officer.
On July 15th at around 5pm, Saugeen Shores Police were called to the area of Elgin Street and Goderich Street after an erratic male was reported and possibly in possession of a knife.
Police arrived and spoke with a man when a woman began screaming and charged at officers, punching one in the shoulder.
After a brief struggle she was arrested. As a result a 42 year old of No Fixed Address was charged with Assaulting an Officer.
The man originally called about was deemed safe and not needing assistance.
