OPP Partnering with Retail& Anti-Fraud Centre on Gift Card Frauds Webinar

The Ontario Provincial Police say they are partnering with the Retail Council of Canada and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre to hold an educational webinar on Preventing Gift Card Frauds.

The online event is being held to kick off Fraud Prevention Month in March.

The trio of organizations are also working together on an in-store and social media campaign developed to draw attention to the most commonly used gift card fraud tactics.

The webinar on Preventing Gift Card Fraud is Tuesday, March 1st starting at 9am on the OPP West Region’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Viewers can send their questions into the panel during the discussion to have them answered.
