The Grey Bruce OPP , West Region Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement, West Grey and Owen Sound Police as well as the MTO held a third & fourth day of commercial vehicle inspections across Grey Bruce.
The third day was last Thursday, May 11th in Durham. A total of 31 vehicles were inspected, and 19 were taken out of service due to major defects.
Then on Friday a blitz was held in Georgian Bluffs. 26 commercial vehicles were inspected, and 13 were taken out of service.
In both cases the most common reason was daily inspection issues.
