The OPP are seeking the public’s help for information on an incident early Sunday morning in Grand Bend that left a victim with a head injury.
Police were called to the scene around 2:40 am on July 2nd to reports of an assault taking place in the parking lot of a local business on Ontario Street.
When they arrived, a large crowd was present with the victim lying on the ground with a visible head injury. EMS attended and the person was transported to hospital.
It was learned the person had attempted to break up an altercation between two others he sustained the injury.
While on the scene, police were shown a video of the events by a witness but they departed before their info could be obtained.
Police are asking for assistance in locating the witness who captured the events on their cellphone.
