Grey Bruce OPP are warning residents in Meaford to be aware of a door to door chimney repair fraud.
On May 22nd, police received two reports of an individual going door to door asking clean and fix chimneys.
The man was seen driving a red dodge pickup with the suspect seeming to providing identification and a phone number but after receiving a deposit for the work he doesn’t return to the home or return any phone calls.
Police believe there are more victims and are asking them to come forward. OPP continue to investigate this case.
