Grey Bruce OPP are welcoming their newest Detachment Commander, Inspector Marla Barfoot.
Barfoot has been the Interim Detachment Commander since July last year who takes over for Inspector Richardson, now a Major Critical Incident Commander for Central Region OPP.
Inspector Barfoot brings in 20 years of policing experience and a deep connection to the Grey Bruce community who was born and raised in the region.
Barfoot in a release saying her goal is to ensure OPP continue to deliver the high level of service that the citizens and visitors of Grey Bruce expect and deserve.
