Over $120,000 has been raised across Bruce Grey areas for United Way’s Coldest Night of the Year walk.
Local clubs and organizations rallied in four walks over the area in Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, Grey Highlands and Meaford all meeting with resounding success.
Across each location the efforts of 513 walkers and volunteers were able to raise $120,326 so far as fundraising continues until March 31st.
Kristy Andrew, United Way Bruce Grey Fundraising Champion says the weather was the coldest they had since running these events and every dollar raised warms the hearts of the most vulnerable.
