An overdose alert has been issued by Grey Bruce Public Health after 2 suspected overdoses including one death in Owen Sound.
The overdoses occurred May 13th and in the fatal case, the substance is not known.
The non fatal its believed the individual smoked fentanyl and was responsive to naloxone.
Public health is encouraging those who use drugs to carry naloxone with them and always have a sober friend who can administer it.
Naloxone is available at pharmacies, participating partners and at Grey Bruce Public Health.
