Work is well into the thick of it in downtown Goderich as reconstruction continues.
The work which began last week is a two year project which is being approached in phases which is starting from South Street to East Street.
It’s expected this end of phase 1 will last until August.
Dan Gall, Manager with the Goderich BIA says they continue to do their best to work with the town to make sure businesses aren’t affected over this work.
“Continuity for our businesses is paramount as well is for our customers. Things are basically going on per normal. There are a few tweaks we have to do due to construction but its all well thought out. We’re working very well with the town.’ said Gall.
While construction work continues throughout the summer, Gall is reminding residents downtown parking is still plentiful and businesses are open to serve customers.
