A search of a Wingham residence has resulted in the recovery of over $30,000 in drugs and stolen property and a slew of charges for two people according to Huron County OPP.
Police executed a search warrant at a Centre Street residence on Thursday.
Among the items seized were quantities of suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, psilocybin, and oxycodone; an imitation BB-gun; a “flick-knife;” ammunition and garden power tools.
The combined estimated value of the seized drugs is $29,365 and the stolen property is $2,355.
As a result of the investigation, a 26-year-old man from North Huron and a 31-year-old woman from Durham face numerous charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
They are currently awaiting a bail hearing.
