Police say alcohol may have played a part in T-bone crash in Clinton

Alcohol is being blamed in a two-vehicle crash in Clinton.

Huron County OPP were called to the intersection of Victoria Street and East Street last Thursday night around 8:30.

They found a pick up truck and a compact car involved in a T-bone crash.

There were no reports of injuries but officers noticed the driver of the compact car showing signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and taken to the detachment where breath samples taken confirmed that the motorist was impaired by alcohol.

A 21-year-old Central Huron man was charged and later released with November 29th court date in Goderich.
