Huron County OPP are warning the public about the dangers of cryptocurrency after six scams have occurred across the area reaching nearly $700,000 lost.
OPP say to always seek professional, accredited consultation before investing their money.
The public is reminded government agencies never accept cryptocurrency as a form of payment and should always do their own research and ask questions before making any investments related to crypto.
