Province Extending Covid-19 Paid Sick Days Until July 31st

The Provincial Government announced today that they are extending the Worker Income Protection Benefit, which provides paid sick days until July 31st, 2022.

Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton says they nearly a quarter million workers have already used the program  and adds that they are ensuring they have the support they need to keep themselves and their families safe.

The Paid Leave can be used for being tested, vaccinated, self-isolating or caring for a family member impacted.
