The province is dishing out funding in support of the coming International Plowing Match & Rural Expo which returns to Bruce County in September.
The expo is the largest of its kind in North America, celebrating Ontario’s agricultural heritage and showcasing innovation, education, tourism and business.
The event from September 22nd-26th is expected to draw in tens of thousands of visitors to the county and beyond.
The provincial government, through the Experience Ontario program is providing $125,000 in support as Bruce County gets the hosting honours for the plowing match for the first time since 2008 when it was done in Teeswater.
