Grey Bruce Public Health is turning to the public to identify the owner of a dog in a biting incident on Sunday at the dog park on 1st Avenue in Owen Sound.
At around 4am a person was bitten by a dog believed to be a husky-cross while the dog was at the off leash park with its owner.
The victim says the dog has a slender appearance, weighing around 60 pounds.
The dog was wearing a prong collar at the time and was called Sophie by its owner.
The dog was with a woman who looked to be in her early to mid 20’s with medium to long brown hair in a messy bun wearing a sky blue jacket.
Public health was to confirm the dog is not infectious with rabies so the victim can avoid post exposure rabies treatment.
