Habitat for Humanity of Owen Sound has put an Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant to good use for improving accessibility.
MPP Paul Vickers met with those with Habitat for Humanity to see the upgrades made from the $13,000 grant at all three ReStores across Grey Bruce.
The six month long grant given last summer allowed for the installation of automatic door openers at ReStores in Hanover, Port Elgin and Owen Sound. Vickers says the Ontario Trillium Foundation has helped this organization and in turn, it’s clients, significantly.
