A $141,300 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant has been a boost for the Historic Roxy Theatre to get a modernized elevator.
The grant given last summer helped modernize the elevator and ensure it meets current and technical and accessibility standards.
With the update, the theatre has extended its life of this essential piece of infrastructure while improving accessibility and reliability for volunteers and community members.
MPP for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound, Paul Vickers says this will allow residents and visitors of all ages and abilities to continue enjoying the arts and performances at The Roxy for years to come.
