The Saugeen Economic Development Corporation is reminding residents to provide feedback on the Rural Development Action Plan for Canada.
On December 15th, Buckley Belanger, the Secretary of State for Rural Development announced a national public consultation to help shape a new rural development action plan with this consultation allow rural communities, organizations and partners a chance to influence federal policy, funding and program delivery.
The action plan aims to make federal initiatives more inclusive for rural communities, strengthen engagement and improve program design to better reflect rural realities.
The consultation is open until February 6th.
