Paulette Lippert, Experimental Learning Consultant at the Bluewater District School Board shared word of Sacred Heart High School student Parker Elphick recently placed First in the Ontario Skills qualifying competition in Barrie for welding.
Parker now advances to the Ontario Competition in Toronto on May 1st and 2nd.
The event at the Toronto Congress Centre will see over 75 contests for secondary and post-secondary students as well as hands-on exhibits and a young women’s conference for students in grades 9 to 12.
