Saugeen Police Giving out Smoke Detectors to Adults Wearing Helmets in Awareness Blitz

The Saugeen Shores Police Service advised cyclists in the area that officers will be out in the community handing out new Smoke Detectors to Adults they find wearing bicycle helmets while out on their bikes. The police were assisted thanks to the Port Elgin Fire Station.

Officers will be assisted by By-Law officers in their Positive Ticketing initiatives and they will also be handing out some fun gifts to youth observed being safe and doing the right thing.
