The Town of Saugeen Shores is pushing forward on their commitment to address local housing as they launch new ‘Ready to Build Housing Designs.’
The initiative which was received by council on June 16th is designed to streamline residential construction, increase housing options and support affordability in the community.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says the designs demonstrate the town’s commitment to providing practical and affordable housing solutions and by offering free designs that are already compliant with local regulations, it makes it cheaper and easier to build good looking, low cost homes.
The housing design catalogue and details are expected to be available on the Saugeen Shores website soon.
