Saugeen Shores Police advises of Widespread Damage to Trees & Hydro Lines

Saugeen Shores Police issued an advisory late this afternoon to say that the area had experienced a significant weather event resulting in widespread damage to trees and hydro lines.

They advise that Emergency Crews are trying to reach people as soon as they can but request that residents stay in their homes and vehicles until crews have had a chance to assess the damage.

They say if you require immediate assistance to call 911 and provide as much details as possible to assist officers.
