The Town of Saugeen Shores is getting closure to finalizing the Cultural Heritage Master Plan which has been many years in the making.
The master plan is a framework on how to better celebrate and preserve heritage within Saugeen Shores.
The continuation of developing the plan comes just as Saugeen Shores celebrated 25 years since amalgamation.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau says anyone with any interest in history of the town should jump online to share their thoughts.
“I just really encourage people who have an interest in our marine heritage or the history or our rivers and downtowns and heritage buildings we have to get online to EngageSaugeenShores.ca” said Charbonneau.
The next steps on the master plan will be to share across the town’s social media and get feedback from residents.
