The Saugeen Shores Police have charged two drivers with impaired operation after they were stopped Saturday in Saugeen Shores.
The first was around 1:40am on September 30th leaving downtown Port Elgin.
The driver of a vehicle with passengers identified themselves as a Designated Driver.
The driver provided a sample into a roadside screening device which registered a fail.
The second vehicle was stopped just after 9:30 Saturday evening after reports of a possible impaired driver northbound on Highway 21.
As a result a 27-year-old of Tiverton has been charged.
Both face impaired operation and blood alcohol 80 plus.
Both have had their vehicles impounded and licenses suspended.
