Saugeen Shores set to Kick Off Pride Month Wednesday with Flag Raising at Municipal Offices

The Town of Saugeen Shores announced that to kick off Pride Month and celebrate the diversity of its residents the Town will be raising the Rainbow Flag at the Municipal Offices on Wednesday and leaving it up for the entire month of June.

The flag pole in front of the Nuclear Innovation Institute will be the location of the flag for the month of June.

The festivities will get underway at 10 am with remarks by Mayor Luke Charbonneau followed by the raising of the flag to mark Pride Month.

The flag first debuted back in 1978 having been designed by artist Gilbert Baker.
