The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board is celebrating the canonization of Saint Carlo Acutis with the renaming of a school in his name.
Carlo was canonized in Rome on September 7th with Pope Leo XIV saying how Saint Carlo Acutis, a teenager of our own day and the first millennial saint.
In September 2020, the school board named a virtual school named Blessed Carlo Acutis Continuing Education School who have now named the school to Saint Carlos Acutis Continuing Education School.
During the 2024-25 school year, 267 students benefited from these courses.
Saint Carlo Acutis passed away at 15 in 2006 who was known for humour and kindness and devoting his life to faith.
