Sharecrows Comes to Kincardine to Support the Food Bank

All of Kincardine is being invited to get out their best scarecrow displays and raise funds in support of the Kincardine Food Bank.

Kicking off next month is Sharecrows with the Kincardine Rotary Club encouraging residents to display their scarecrows, get creative with the designs and themes and collect non perishable goods for the food bank.

Cash donations are also being taken which will support the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation.

Jason Finner with the Kincardine Rotary Club says bringing in this event is crucial when it comes to supporting the food bank.

“Of all the food donations they get, they also need $10,000 a month just to run it. You can imagine in this inflationary environment with food prices, it’s only getting worse.” said Finner.

Sharecrows all kicks off October 20th and runs until the 31st with registration available from the Rotary Club.
