The SIU has wrapped up its investigation into the an incident in Chatsworth.
SIU Director Joseph Martino has closed the case into a 34 year old woman who was seriously injured on August 20th.
The woman in question on that day was having withdrawal symptoms’ from fentanyl and crashed her vehicle and then attempted to steal a pick up truck while armed with a firearm.
The driver of the pickup took the firearm with the woman hiding in a corn field.
Police with the help of K9 arrested the woman who suffered a broken clavicle in her crash and a minor injury from a police dog.
The investigation was closed after it was determined the crash caused the broken clavicle and not the arresting officer.
