The SIU has invoked its mandate after an incident in Hanover.
On May 14th at around 2:30am, South Bruce OPP were conducting a traffic stop on Bruce Road 10 in West Grey, Police tried arresting one person when they fled but was later taken into custody and reported sustaining injuries from the incident.
On July 24th, the OPP was informed the SIU invoked its mandate and is investigating.
OPP are not commenting further on the matter.
