Snowfall Hammers the Region Once Again

Snowfall Hammers the Region Once Again

Snowfall has hit the region once again with a blizzard warning remaining in effect with as much as 40-80cm expected to fall throughout the day into Friday.

Peak snowfalls of 5-10cm are expected with westerly winds gusting to 80km/hour resulting in near zero visiblity in blowing snow.

Driving conditions are poor with the shift in weather leading the Town of Saugeen Shores and Huron-Kinloss to declare a significant weather event.

Highway 21 is closed from Amberly to Kincardine and from Kincardine to Port Elgin due to high winds, blowing snow and poor to no visibility.
