The Society of United Professionals Bruce Local is dishing out $6000 in local food bank support.
The funds have been split evenly among the Kincardine Food Bank, Saugeen Shores Food Bank and Saugeen First Nation Food Bank.
The society ran a campaign raising funds from April to Labour Day which were raised from union t shirt sales and contributions from other local unions as part of the Society’s Union Strong and Canada United campaigns.
Society Bruce Local Vice President Dave Ceksters says these food banks are a vital support for many struggling families and they are truly grateful to everyone who pitched in to donate.
