The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is looking for members of the public interested in becoming a SBGHC board member.
They are seeking people with clinic, legal, information technology or patient and health care advisory experience.
The Board is responsible for the overall governance of the affairs of the hospital. The commitment is for both in person and virtual meetings, adding up to a possible twelve hours per month and for a 3-year term.
The requirements include:
- not a member of the credentialed staff or employee of SBGHC
- not been amember or employee of SBGHC within the previous 5 years
- not related through family or reside with a member or employee
- have a principal residence or carry on business in the area serviced by SBGHC (Communities and surrounding areas iof Chesley, Durham, Kincardine and Walkerton)
- Are not under the age of 18
- Are not an undischarged bankrupt
