The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is closing the Emergency Department at the Durham Hospital due to insufficient staffing.
The ED will close this afternoon at 5pm and reopen tomorrow morning at 7:00 am.
It will them re-close on Friday, July 21st at 5pm and reopen Saturday, July 22nd at 7:00 am.
Ambulance by-pass will be undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open Emergency Department during the closure.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911 to be taken to the nearest Emergency Department.
