South Bruce OPP investigating disturbance in Walkerton

South Bruce OPP say there is no threat to public safety after they were called to a home in Walkerton.

Officers went to a residence on Irishwood Lane about a disturbance around 11:25 Sunday morning.

Emergency Response Team were brought in and have one person in custody.

No other details about the investigation have been released.

A section of Irishwood Lane was closed during the investigation but has since been reopened.

OPP say that residents should be aware of their personal safety at all times.
