The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has provided an update on the Ontario Supreme Court ruling on the land claim of a portion of Sauble Beach.
The Town says the decision and its implications are being reviewed with their legal council.
They aren’t making a decision on an appeal until they fully understand the implication for residents & businesses.
They say the questions raised include whether landowners can have a life interest in the portion Saugeen First Nation holds title.
Another question for South Bruce Peninsula is where the Reserve’s new east boundary lies.
