The Chippewas of Saugeen First Nation provided an update to the community just after 7:30 this morning about an incident in the area last night.
In the release they advise that the active police investigation is continuing in the village area of the community.
Band Buildings will be open for regular business hours, but the Saugeen Gas Bar will be closed until noon today to reduce public traffic in the area.
Residents who very evacuated last night are now being told they can return home.
Both the OPP & Saugeen Shores Police advised residents of the increased police presene around 10:45 pm last night.
