A Southampton Fishing Company and two of its boat captains have been fined for over-fishing back in 2017.
In the release it says the company had reached their quota by May of that year but continued to catch lake trout throughout the year.
The company was fined $100,000 for failing to accurately report all fish caught under its fishing license, one captain was fined $30,000 and prohibited from commercial fishing for 20 years and the other $5,000 and prohibited for 5 years.
The company and its Captains have been fined in the past as well for similar offences going back 15 years.
