The Southampton Rotary Club has announced a series of year-end donations totaling over $8,000 to support local & international causes.
The donations include $3,000 to Southampton Arts to fund a new photocopier, promote artistic expression & community engagement.
They will also be giving $900 in support of the Rotary Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, $850 to the Canadian-Ukraine Surgical Aid Program, as well as $700 each to Operation Eyesight and Guatemala Cook Stoves.
The later ensures healthier foods for families overseas.
That cause is also seeing a $1,000 donation to the Rotary Hand Up program in the County.
Outgoing Rotary Community Services Director Mike Roberts presented the cheque for $3,000 recently to Lind Spruce, Community & Fund Developer at Southampton Arts.
