A pilot project in Bayfield to reduce speeds on the streets has shown little results.
Bluewater council launched the project to drop speeds from 50km to 30km per hour earlier this year to get a better look at the impact of driving behavior however the results has shown very little change in driver behaviors.
Some signs pointed towards considering having the need for a stop sign in certain areas and make sure drivers are made more aware of changes in Bayfield.
While driving behaviors has been limited it seems the speed limit will still remain in place for now.
