Jason Kloss set to Cross Lake Huron for 2nd Time in August to raise Money for Centre for Mental Health & Addiction

A swimmer who hails from Clinton is set to attempt to swim 65 km across Lake Huron all in support of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health this August.

Jason Kloss first undertook the journey just over a decade ago when he swam from Michigan to Grand Bend in just over 26 hours and raised $22,000 for cancer research.

He did it in honour of his grandfather Dick, who did the same swim over 3 decades prior.

This year’s journey is on August 11 and 12th and sees him undertaking it this year to raise money for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.

His goal this year is $50,000.

The incredible personal feat is being made more meaningful says Kloss, due to its potential positive impact on others suiffering in silence with similar issues around them.
