Tankard committee delivers update on event

The steering committee of the 2022 Port Elgin Chrysler Tankard remains hopeful that the Ontario men’s curling championships can be held as scheduled.

They did announce that sponsor logos will be placed on the ice and the event will be livestreamed.

The committee has also reached out to Curling Ontario to host the Tankard in 2023.

They have suspended ticket sales for the time being and are preparing to hold the event in a bubble if required.

The 2022 Tankard is scheduled to run February 9th to 13th at the Plex in Port Elgin.
