The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board alongside Sacred Heart High School’s Food and Nutrition Class has launched a community meal program.
Dubbed The Open Table, the initiative is designed to cultivate dignity, compassion and belonging.
The inaugural event will take place May 27th from 5-6:30pm at Holy Family Parish in Hanover.
Karyn Bruneel, Director of Education says The Open Table is about more than hospitality its about radical belonging adding it creates a shared environment where social and economic barriers are set aside.
