Hanover police are thankful for the actions of an eyewitness, after they caught three suspects in the middle of a break-and-enter on Friday morning.
Officers received a call around 3 a.m. on Nov. 18 of suspicious activity at a commercial property on County Road 28 in Hanover and responded with the West Grey Police service.
They searched the property and located three male suspects – a 36-year-old, 51-year-old and 56-year-old – who were all arrested without incident. Officers also recovered stolen property and break-in tools.
As a result, the three Hanover men face several charges, including break, enter, theft and mischief under $5,000.
In a release, police thanked the witness for reporting the incident.
