Three individuals have been extradited to Canada to face charges stemming from the death of Sharifur Rahman back in August 2023.
The 44 year old of Owen Sound was assaulted by three suspects on 2nd Avenue East who succumbed to his injuries on August 24th 2023.
Police were able to determine the three fled the country and on July 30th, 2024 Scotland Police were able to arrested two suspects in Edinburgh and then on October 29th arrested a 54 year old in Dalkeith.
Following the extradition process on Thursday, OPP and Owen Sound Police investigators escorted the three accused from the United Kingdom to Ontario.
